Raiffeisen (Bulgaria) Money Market Fund starts public offering of units in the middle of March 2006. It invests the collected assets in money market instruments, i.e. Treasury Bills, mortgage and corporate bonds, and deposits. This Fund is considered to be a very secure and conservative investment with high liquidity and lowest levels of risk.


Characteristic of the typical investor

The shares of the Fund are suitable for investors who prefer well diversified portfolio investments in financial instruments, and meanwhile pursue relatively high revenues and growth of their savings at low to moderate levels of risk. Investing in units of the Fund is directed both to individual and institutional investors who pursue liquid investment in securities in order to be able to sell any or all of their shares more quickly and receive their value, including the generated profitability.


Investment objectives of the mutual fund

The basic objective of Raiffeisen (Bulgaria) Money Market Fund is to ensure the preservation of the actual value of its units and at the same time to achieve considerable increase in the value of its shareholders investments. The aim of the fund is to further generate capital gains and interest income, which are higher from the income generated by alternative investments of private capital.


For the purpose of implementation of the basic investment objectives the assets of the Mutual Fund shall be managed according to a strategy, based on profound market analysis including:


• Effective management of the investment portfolio for generation of expected profitability


• Conservativeness in structuring the investment portfolio – the portfolio of the Mutual Fund will mainly consist of bonds and deposits


• Selection of the type of assets in which the Fund invests, according to the expected profitability


• The Fund will invest its assets in securities with high degree of liquidity which will permit their subsequent sale. This will help to achieve the most correct valuation of the securities and an objective valuation of the net value of assets in the Fund


• The portfolio of the Mutual Fund will be diversified
